The “Facebook is marching toward decline” discussion continues, this time USC Annenberg Center for the Digital Future and Bovitz, Inc. According to Bulldog Reporter, “The survey found that 30 percent of Facebook users said they will be using Facebook less or a lot less in five years.”
Of course, surveys also show that more than half of the population plans to lose weight, too. Relying on self-reported predictions of plans for the future is fraught with risk. That’s not to say that Facebook might not decline, but it’s certainly healthy to take it with a grain of salt (just not too many grains, or you risk the ire of the health care community).
